Offered is this lovely antique French faience wall pocket vase.
Totally hand painted with a wedding scene and titled "Noce en Auvergne" as you see on the bottom left just above the blue bow which means "Wedding in Auvergne", Auvergne is a city in France.
This was made in the Fourmaintraux factory in Desvres, France between 1866-1887.
In the bagpipe form with a pocket on the side for your flowers, it features a beautiful hand painted scene with the muscian, the young bride and groom and the parents walking down a path with the mountains in the background.
It is in excellent antique condition. It has one small chip as shown that is not seen when hanging on the wall.
It measures 11 inches long, 7.5 inches wide and stands out from the wall 2 inches.
