Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique Victorian open salt for your table.
I found this in the east of France.
It features two running horses hitched to a Roman Chairriot which has wheels that turn in metal.
The crystal/glass open salt container is quite beautiful with a star burst pattern on the bottom, the upper rim looks like ruffles and the center band is cross hatched with four oval windows, just lovely!
This is quite a hefty piece as it weighs almost 1.5 pounds just by itself!
It is in excellent antique condition and it measures 5.75 inches long by 3.25 inches wide and stands 2.25 inches tall.
This will be a fabulous item to add to your private Victorian or open salt collection or give it as a wonderful and unique gift!
