Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique hand painted Limoges platter.
It is marked on the back with the green under glaze white ware mark of the Coiffe Limoges company that was used between 1891-1914. It also has the George Borgfeldt factory decorating mark used between 1906-1920.
It features large pink roses and green leaves. The thorny branches on the left side are made out of gold paste. The rim is deeply scalloped, molded and trimmed in gold.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
It measures 12.25 inches from top to bottom and 11.75 inches wide.
