Offered is this lovely antique hand painted oyster plate.
Made in Austria by the Victoria Schmidt Porcelain Factory between 1883-1890. It is well marked on the back with a stunning makers mark.
It features six wells for oysters and a center well for lemon or vinaigrette. It is hand painted and enameled with Gold flowers and gold and silver leaves. I took close-ups of each well for you to see.
This is a very beautiful antique oyster plate and would look gorgeous on display or on your wall.
It measures 9 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has a few pin holes in the porcelain here and there, this is all normal and expected for a piece 130 years old.
