We believe this was made in the 1930's or 40's. We found nothing on the makers mark in the form of a horseshoe with JAPAN under it so it is before the 1950's.
This lovely and colorful duck will keep safe your outgoing or incoming letters in his handy basket.
He measures 6.5 inches long, 4.25 inches wide and stands 5.5 inches tall.
He is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is overall crazing which is normal for antique and vintage majolica.
