Offered is a beautiful antique French faience hunting plate with the back stamp of Digion and Sarreguemines.
This plate was produced between 1880-1930 according to the makersmark.
This white plate features a raised basket weave rim trimmed in black with the center black transfer depicting six partridges being chased into flight by the hunting dog of the hunter who is attempting to shoot them.
Very lovely and a great example of early french faience.
It measures just over 7 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!
