Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique majolica plate.
Made by Villeroy & Boch in their Schramberg majolica factory, it is marked with the early 1882 mark of VBS in a circle and the impressed numbers 503.
It features a beautify ornate rim with a bouquet of daisies and purple blue flowers and green leaves in the center.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! I did see a very small rim nip that was colored over as seen in photo. It does have stilt marks on the back from the kiln which is normal for antique majolica.
It measures 8 inches in diameter.
