Made by the Keller & Guerin company in Luneville, France in the 1890's, this lovely set features 6 antique egg cups and the presentation stand.
All hand painted and quite beautiful, it features pink and yellow tulips with blue and yellow flowers and green leaves.
The presentation stand has a scalloped edge and pierced handles trimmed in pink and green. It has 6 holes to hold the egg cups and stands on 4 beautifully molded feet that do not allow the egg cups to touch the table!
The 6 egg cups are hand painted with pink and yellow flowers and green leaves.
The presentation tray is well marked with the 1890's Keller & Guerin makers mark in green under glaze and a few impressed letters.
The presentation stand measures 11 inches long and 7.5 inches wide. It stands 2.5 inches tall with the egg cups.
The condition of this piece is not bad for 120 years old and surviving two World Wars, staying together with all of its pieces! Two egg cups and the tray have hairlines and repairs. 4 egg cups are in perfect condition. The price is based solely on the 4 perfect egg cups, the two egg cups and the tray are free. An antique French egg cup of this age and quality is valued between $125-165 for one. We are happy to consider offers. This would qualify as a museum piece.
