Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique hand painted plate from my last trip to France.
Hand painted and signed under glaze by Henri Chaumeil, this was done between 1890-1920. It is also marked with "Vieux Strasbourg Fait Main" or Old Strasbourg, hand made" which is writen over the glaze.
It features a scalloped rim with the flowers and leaves on the rim and a central bouquet of a tulip with wild flowers. Just stunning!!
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!!
It is a nice large plate that measures 9.75 inches in diameter, the perfect size for display or use.
