Made by the GIEN majolica factory between 1971-1984.
This is what is known as "Renaissance Fond Bleu".
It features a large rim of 8 raised lobes hand painted with a winged Phoenix in different positions separated by a rope.
The center of the dish features an elaborate vase of fruit and flowers on an ornate console. Just beautiful!
It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks!
It measures 9 inches in diameter.
