Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique hand painted plate from our last trip to France.
Hand painted and signed under glaze by Henri Chaumeil, this was done between 1890-1920. It is also marked with "Decor Strasbourg Fait Main" or Old Strasbourg, hand made which is written over the glaze.
It features a scalloped rim with the flowers and leaves on the rim and a central bouquet of a rose with wild flowers. Just stunning!!
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!! There is a pin hole where the white enamel did not cover.
It is a nice large plate that measures 9.75 inches in diameter, the perfect size for display or use.
