Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique majolica humidor.
Made in the 1800's, it is marked on the bottom with the impressed numbers "9477/20" and two initials under glaze.
This form was usually made in Austria.
The base is green with a pink cartouche on the font and back.
The front cartouche has multiple darker pink flowers in it and the back cartouche has a central bottom flower and a flower on each top edge.
It sits on four feet.
The lid has a pink water lily with green leaves floating on the blue water. The edge of the rim is green.

Hey, so if you look at this word as if it were French you have humid-or or humid gold!
This lovely antique humidor is in excellent antique condition, I see no chips or cracks! It does have over all glaze crazing due to age which is normal for antique majolica.
