Made in the 1800's it is marked on the back with the numbers 1860.
I found this same plate in one of my reference books on page 74 in "Oyster Plates".
It has a crescent shape with 5 oyster wells and a well for lemon or sauce.
It has gold scrolling along the scalloped rim.
It measures 9 inches long and 7.5 inches wide from the point to the rounded back.
It has a little center foot on the bottom.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! There is some light wear on the high points which is normal and expected.
