Offered for your personal collection is this gorgeous antique majolica plate.
Made in the 1800's by Wedgwood, it's date code is BGZ.
It features a brown and yellow Reticulated or pierced rim. The band between the center and the rim has a green leaf vine with little red berries with a yellow and white dotted ribbon swirled around it on a purplish blue band.
The green intaglio center features a well dressed lady holding up a bowl of fruit while she looks at you over her right shoulder.
It measures almost 9 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips! It has a small hairline in the rim and overall glaze crazing which is normal and expected with antique majolica.
This will be beautiful in any room of your home!
