The four asparagus on the lid make the handle so you can lift the lid off to put what ever you like inside.
This is a nice big piece as it measures 13.5 long, 8 inches wide and stands 6 inches tall with lid.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!
It has overall glaze crazing and the lid has two stilt marks from the kiln on one edge which is normal with antique and vintage faience and majolica.
