Offered for your personal collection is this beautiful vintage French faience plate.
Made by the Saint Clement majolica factory and hand painted by Andree Moinard. He started working at this factory in 1948.
This lovely plate features a Reticulated or pierced rim that he meticulously gave color to the inside of each pierced hole!
The center features a colorful flower bouquet with the main flower bing a large pinkish red peony. Just gorgeous!
As the rim is pierced you can weave a ribbon through so you can hang this on your wall!
It is initialed on the back by Andree Moinard.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks! It does have stilt marks on the back from the kiln which is normal.
It measures 9.75 inches in diameter.
