Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique covered urn.
It is unmarked and matches plates that we have available, see ff449 and ff448! We believe this was made by Luneville or Strasbourg before 1880.
This urn has a Chinese monk looking over his shoulder holding a long pipe while standing in the middle of a field with flowers and vegetation all around.
The other side features a monk looking over his shoulder holding a dove in his hands while walking in the middle of a field with flowers and vegetation all around. Just beautiful!
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
The inside lid does have a small spot of glaze missing which is not seen.
It measures about 8 inches long, about 7 inches wide and stands 10.75 inches tall.
We do have two lidded urns available sold separately, collect them both and add the matching plates!
