Made during the Aesthetic Movement when everything oriental was all the fashion!
This lovely match holder features a little Japanese girl in traditional dress. The funny looking character next to her holds the matches. The striker is on the side and you have the little tray in front to put the used match.
It is marked with impressed numbers on the bottom as seen in photos.
It measures 3.5 inches wide and stands 5.25 inches tall.
It is in excellent antique condition with some pink glaze missing on the back of the fan as seen in photo, otherwise, in excellent antique condition.
This will look fabulous in your office, man cave or private collection!
