Made by the Master Ceramist, Edouard Gilles from Choisy-le-Roi, France (1868-1930's), he was a master at his art and his items are highly sought after. This vase was made between 1890-1920.
This rare large impressionist Palissy vase features hand painted and hand applied apples, leaves and branches on both the front and back do the vase. It sits on four feet.
It is in exceptional antique condition with no chips or cracks!
It measures13 inches tall, 11.5 inches from side to side and is 10 inches from front to back with all of the fruit and leaves.
It is marked on the bottom with the raised oval that has the impressed "E G" in it and the numbers 4098.
