Offered for your private collection is this beautiful French faience two handled and lidded dish or small tureen.
This beauty was totally hand painted by Henri Chaumeil between 1890-1920.
On the dish part you have a rose and flowers with green leaves on one side and a tulip in a bouquet of different flowers tied up with a bow on the other side. There are several insects also painted on.
The lid is gorgeous with multi-colored flowers and leaves.
It is marked on the bottom with "Strasbourg Fait Main" in black and the initial "CH" for Henri Chaumeil.
Both pieces are in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks!
It measures 7.25 inches wide from handle to handle, and stands about 7 inches tall with lid.
