Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique French faience ewer, vase.
This was found in the east of France. It was made by Henri Chaumeil between 1890-1920. He and his father Alcide had a small factory in Paris from the 1880's to the early 1920's. This is marked with Henri's initals "CH".
This lovely vase is in the form of an ewer which is an elaborate form of a pitcher.
It features a diffrent hand painted scene on each side so you can turn this every other day and have a diffrent look!!
On one side you have a large rose and tulip, with wild flowers bouquet and the other side is a large Peony flower also known as the King of Flowers or the Fairy Flowers.

It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, there is one small glaze skip spot on the top rim mentioned only for accuracy.
It measures 10 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
