Offered for your private collection is this beautiful antique majolica vase.
Made in the Art Nouveau style, it features two hanging pomegranates on the front and one hanging pomegranate on the back. The handles are gorgeous and the foot is just as decorated as the vase itself!
Pomegranates have been symbols of prosperity, hope, abundance and fertility all over the world.
The colors are a turquoise blue, deep red or blood wine color, yellow, pink and a hint of green on the pomegranates.
It is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks! It has overall glaze crazing which is normal and expected for a piece this old.
We do have two vases available, collect them both!
It measures 11.25 inches tall and 6 inches wide from handle to handle.
It is marked on the bottom with an impressed "10083" in the clay under the glaze. I found this in France but I believe it to be from Austria.
Add this lovely antique vase to your personal collection today or give as a fabulous antique gift!
