This lovely antique plate has a fasinating rim and the center scene is of a stork getting ready to feed its young one while two other birds watch from a far. The steeple of a church is seen in the background.
Storks are a common site in the Strasbourg region along the French-German border.
This plate measures 7.75 inches in diameter and is in very good condition for its great age with some light wear which is normal for antique majolica this old, please view all of the photos.
