This dish has an attached underplate and is excellent to hold butter, cheese, pate, nuts or other tasty items! You can also use this to hold your jewelry, bath soaps or use it as a covered master salt dish!! Hey, you can find all sorts of uses for this beauty!!!
In the more rare form of the bag pipe, this piece features a man in cultural dress with a cane.
The bag pipe lid and dish have a blue bow and an ochre bow.
All totally hand painted.
Marked on both the lid and the dish with the circa 1922-1968 Henriot Quimper makersmark as seen in the photos.
The dish measures 8.5 inches long.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!!!
