Made in the Rouen style and marked on the bottom "ROUEN, FAIT MAIN" or Rouen, hand made.
This covered pot is hand painted in yellows, blues, greens and oranges.
It measures 3 inches wide and stands 2.75 inches tall with lid.
It is in excellent antique condition with an interior nibble where the glaze is missing and some glaze wear on the edges of the handle which is normal for use and age. Other than that, no chips or cracks!
Add this to your daily cooking ritual as either a covered salt pot next to the stove or on the table or as a butter tub, don't you just hate those plastic butter tubs on your table! This will also make a wonderful antique gift for anyone!
