Offered for your private collection is this beautiful vintage German bisque porcelain Great Horned Owl.
Made by the Goebel factory. Porcelain bisque is the first firing of a piece of porcelain before it would be decorated.
This piece is one of only 950 that were made. This is a special limited edition and was the 195th piece to have been made! This piece is well marked with the Goeble foil tag with the limited edition information and the impressed name of the modeler is on the back bottom of the figurine.
He is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs! His beak, horns and claws are all in excellent condition and have never been broken!
He measures 9 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide with the base. Some of the laquer is off of the very bottom of the wood base as seen.
