Offered is this beautiful antique French majolica Asparagus plate from the 1800's.
Made by the Sarreguemines majolica factory in the east of France, this plate is featured on page 51 in "Artichauts et Asperges en Barbotine".
It is well marked as seen in photo.
The colors are Blue, Green and Purple on White.
It measures 9.75 inches in diameter.
This will look lovely in any room of your home.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall very fine glaze crazing which is normal for antique majolica.
