Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovely antique French majolica asparagus plate.
Unmarked except with the number "23" but I found it in my reference books as mentioned with the number 23 being made by the Orchies factory in the 1800's in the north east of France.
It features 3 compartments, one for your sauce, the center well for the asparagus and the third for prosciutto ham, Yummm!
It has 3 asparagus in the center well.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It does have overall glaze crazing from age which is normal.
It measures 9.75 inches in diameter.
